January/February 2026

It looks like we made it through another winter. It's been a very mild one this year, with very few 'snow days'.
Here are the photo highlights - including more than the usual amount of animals.

Don't worry, they're not ours!

But they are cute!

The Carnaval is over, and all the beautiful floats are left by the side of the highway

New 'Stu' awaits his moment of glory!

Old 'Baja Stu' the Subaru will live forever because we sold him to Jesus the best mechanic in town

This is what two retired guys get up to on a Wednesday afternoon

Right outside our front door! Then two hours later they were gone.

Confused cactus

Junk shop cats have a hard life!

"Employees of the Month" at our local smash burger place

And one guy who's been banned!

We found this quartz arrow head on the dunes near a friend's house

Who're you lookin' at?

We attended our first 70th birthday party...Congrats Capi!!

'New Stu' takes his first trip to the great outdoors (San Juan de la Costa)

Old Cactus Man!

Fun playing some blues at Bermejo Brewery

In La Ventana, the 'Jazz in the Desert' concert raised $$ for the local ambulance volunteers

Back in La Paz - more money was raised for ambulances at the Blues Fest

Willy & Carol's wonderful 'Beach Blast' was particularly spectacular

Sunrise from Raul's place in La Ventana. (Pretty soon 'New Stu' will be wanting his own blog)

This lot are arriving in just over a week. Can't wait!!
