Another full week…

We drove over to La Ventana last Sunday - this is a famous town for windsurfing and kite surfing. Beautiful beaches!  On the way, we stopped for all sorts of livestock on the highway - cows, goats and horses! This is why you don’t drive at night here on the highway…

The house is barreling along.. the top roof has been poured and required a full team of extra workers to send (bucket by bucket) the concrete up to the top level. Unbelievable hard work and manpower. The inside plastering is almost done in the Great Room, and already it is bright and clean looking.

Tried a Zumba class last Friday down in “the hood”. Mexican teacher, Mexican music, and all Mexicans in the class. I really had no idea what was happening for most of the time but I just kept moving!

We had a blast last weekend.  Drove to San Jose Del Cabo to meet my friend and ex colleague from Canuck Place Janie. She is on vacation for 2 weeks with her husband and friends. We had a great visit, good dinner, and an overnight stay in a funky little hotel called The Tropicana. Molly was at Happy Pets overnight, and had her teeth cleaned while she was there!

15 sleeps until Jonathan and Kendrianne come down for a week (not that I am counting…)

  2. Great updates. I love the interior scaffolding they use. Those are pallets standing on end. So good. So good.
