Donald Trump, a one legged clown, a drive-through beer store… have we got your attention?
La Paz continues to amaze us and entertain us.

Leanne’s Mom made it home safe and sound last Tuesday night.  Maria and Alejandra (her private drivers!), and Westjet took good care of her.

The weekend was great. The 2nd La Paz Jazz Festival was held Saturday at Playa Corumuel… a beautiful beach setting. Regular readers will remember the 1st La Paz Jazz Festival was ‘hailed-out’ by a freak storm in early December. This one was smooth sailing and The Big Band did a great job in the afternoon. Then I played with Terry, Willie and Bill at 10:00 pm and we really enjoyed it. I hope they managed to cover costs and it happens again next year.

Sunday was all about Ed’s 96th birthday. Raul organised the whole thing and his family did a great job cooking carne asada. There was tennis, beer, a large bottle of tequila and the finale was an appearance by Donald Trump in piñata form. Ed really gave him a good going over and has kept what’s left of him in his bedroom for daily abuse!

This could scare some people (actually he was really a nice guy)

I've got him tightly by the cajones
So has Raul!
